    If things continue the way they are at the moment, it looks to be one of
    the most interesting seasons in recent memory. Certainly, I look forward
    to it: more than I have in a long time. Vettel's run of driver's championships, followed by Hamilton's, followed by Verstappen's, tended
    to cause me to lose interest.

    The FIA and Liberty Media didn't help matters, with various changes
    seemingly meant to "improve the spectacle" As well, the whole Andretti
    affair left a sour taste.

    If I missed a race one weekend, well, meh! Hopefully, not this year.
