    Williams has dropped Logan Sargeant with immediate effect and will
    replace him with its academy driver Franco Colapinto for the remainder
    of the Formula 1 season.

    Sargeant had already lost his drive for 2025 as Williams is bringing in
    Carlos Sainz - but the American's place even for the remainder of the
    year has been the subject of scrutiny at various points in 2024. -----

    Quite possibly. I never heard any details about what he might have
    brought to Williams in terms of sponsorship, but that is how a lot of
    guys get there it seems

    Quite possibly. I never heard any details about what he might have
    brought to Williams in terms of sponsorship, but that is how a lot of
    guys get there it seems

    Follow up: his uncle, Harry Sargeant III, runs a multibillion-dollar
    business conglomerate in "aviation companies, oil refineries, oil
    trading operations, alternative fuels development, and oil and asphalt shipping" (Wikipedia).

    Anyone care to be there's not a connection there?
