I think he's also try to reassure folks it's a good bet to invest in. Personally the risk of being on the first flight is something I'd pass
on.

Right?! I mean... I'm sure that they've tested and are going at space travel using tight engineering - that they have to meet some level of surety that t know safety is taken care of... but man. I wouldn't be strapping in on the V FIRST flight, either! Lol.
I mean you don't know what you don't know, right? Its amazing that we're in place where individuals have the wealth to be able to make that decision... crazy. His brother is gonna go up with him, too? Man... must be nice being t f*****.

One of the Professors from the Electronics department once told me that shuttles and the like are scary as heck, because he felt they were using stoneage technology behind a flashy cover :-) In the sense that the
whole thing felt as if spaceships were just metal boxes with rockets strapped on them, but it was ok because they put the logo of some reputable agency on them.
It's also not a given, that the first flight is the most dangerous. The things that go wrong are often caused by the unknown (or ignored) design flaws that eventually cause a catastrophic failure, but you don't know
if it will happen on the 1st flight or the 128th.
Maybe Bezos is fully aware of the risks or maybe he is convinced that is has to be a success, because he achieved so much.

So, do you think Bezos will travel to space and back sucessfully? No problems???
I think so - but I can't say I hope for... news.

I am not a gambler, so I am gonna place no bets.
Who knows, maybe Bezos sends a double into the SHuttle and the whole
thing is for marketing anyway :-P
