Very cool on the Coldplay concert you enjoyed!

We got back into this ona much smaller scale with a performance of Peter Noonen with Herman's Hermits (we were given tickets) and then one of Post Modern Jukebox each held in different large 1920s Art Deco theatres.

Our large outdoor concert season up here in Wisconsin will start soon, but I haven't seen an offering that has caught my eye.

    Simply not doing Tribute Bands.

That said a lot of the bands out are so elderly that they could be considered "self-tribute bands" as it is.

I went to see Coldplay last night at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, CA - amazing show. If you get a chance to see them on this tour, it's worth
    it.

I think if and when they come back to New Zealand they will likely only play in Auckland or Christchurch so I'd need to travel, but yep I'd be interested in seeing them live :)

Everyone in the audience was given an LED wristband to wear, all
computer controlled to the music - very impressive. Music sounded
great and they were very engaging.

Ooo... sounds cool, did you get to keep the wristband? Does it go bing everytime you get near a band member :)

I thought about keeping one and dissecting it, but thought better of
    it.

What happens to the wristbands after the concert? Landfill? :/

I've seen the audiences on some TV shows wearing lighted bands.
    eg. Come Dance With Me.

Definitely made for a nice first concert after a long
hiatus for me. My son's first major concert, too.

    I don't remember my "first" concert. :(
