That's interesting, I didn't realize that. I suppose being such a
specialized show it takes a while to gather up enough funding to produce another season.
I wonder if there are any other shows out there that cover the same type of material. A while back I spotted a series on YouTube that originally aired
on a UK network that showed people putting in backyard model railroad
setups. It was amazing what the lengths they went to. I believe the host
ran a business helping design and install backyard model railroads. There seemed to be a pretty decent demand for it. I'll have to check and see if
that ever came back, if I can remember the name of it! ;)

Is Tracks Ahead still being carried anywhere out there? My PBS
station stopped it a few years ago and sadly it has never returned.
The series is not listed as canceled or finished. Season 9 ended in
June 2015 so that is 4 years of nothing however there was a 4 year gap between season 5 and 6 from 2002 to 2006. Maybe that is the case
again, one could hope!!!
