• display logo.asc in non-ANSI mode?

From Niels Haedecke@2:240/8002 to All on Saturday, April 19, 2025 22:28:43
    Hi there,
I've been testing text mode recently and one thing I noticed is that if you have set non-graphics (ASCII) mode, the system still displays 'logo.ans' and I wonder if we coud change it so that in this case when the user has selected plain ASCII mode, a file named 'logo.asc' is being displayed (and, consequently
all other login / welcome related files as *.asc variants).

    Just thinking.

Also, I've reworked the 'source.de' and 'germandu.txt' language source files because the menu / navigation bar in the message reader was not working properly. It does now, and it looks conform to the default english one.

Do you want me to go through a full pull-request or can I just open a ticket on
sourceforge and attach the new language files to that ticket?

The logo file is displayed before the user logs in, so at this point the system doesn't know if the user has selected ASCII or ANSI. You can change the filename displayed in mbsetup 1.3.7 to logo.asc.

Open a ticket and attach the new files; I'll get them merged in shortly after I receive them.
