Wow, there's a name not seen in a while. Good to see you back
    around, Daryl.

After my late brother's suicide 14 months ago, and events
causing a panic attack and a nervous breakdown that landed me
in the psychiatric ward for a week (where they fed us 2000
calories A MEAL (not a day), like WE were the turkeys being
fattened up for Thanksgiving), I had to take a break from the
BBS, due to burnout. But, while getting things set back up is
    not difficult, it's tedious.

Like the land of the midnight sun in winter. <G> I doubt
I could live in an area with 24 hours of daylight or darkness.

You mentioned it in the first post quoted... "pointless... no users." Some
of us are still running, upgrading, and adding things despite this possibly being true.

Considering it is all quoted, I didn't think there was any mystery to what
    I meant. ;)

Uh, yes... the point of the messages was that an archive of some bbs things would be useful to those of us who are still running one, even though others think it is pointless because there are no users. There was no implied complaint on my part, or the part of the person I replied to, in regards to running one.

I still don't see the mystery as to what was meant.

you said you are pushing a boulder up hill with running a bbs.
and i said you are the one doing it.

it's not hard to run a bbs, though.
